Grandfather Mountain along the Blue Ridge Parkway in western NC at sunset. Made the trip to Grandfather Mountain State Park last week with some good friends and saw this gorgeous landscape during the Golden Hour light from the rocky pinnacle. Grandfather Mountain is a jewel in the southern Appalachian Mountains of WNC, offering spectacular scenic landscape views from over 6000ft. above sea level. On a clear day, you can see Charlotte NC on the horizon!
